My latest and greatest!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this desk! It was a little white desk that was in my daughters room and it was pretty beat up. I'd redone her room in hot pink and black... So, I revamped the desk today! I think it's adorable!

I'm crafting again!!!

Finally, after waiting six weeks, for a house... we are moved in and settled! I was so excited to see all my craft room set up again... I couldn't wait to start making stuff... I've been hooked on making jewelry and I've made several necklaces. I'm having so much fun!!! My favorite is the flag... I think I'll wear it for the Fourth of July this weekend!!!

I miss my craft room!!!!!

Well... we headed for NC about a month ago... and we're still waiting to get a house.. All my stuff is in storage and I haven't been able to craft in about a month... I'm about to lose my mind.... Somebody say a little prayer for me, that I don't go crazy!!! Only 9 more days and I'll have a house! I can't wait!!! Just needed to vent a little! I'm done now... Put my happy face back on!

This and That

Just a few things I've been doing the past couple of weeks... Besides packing and getting ready to move to NC... I've been pretty busy! First, I made this adorable outfit for my friends' daughter for her 3rd birthday... It's so adorable!

I painted my kitchen table and re-covered the chairs... I LOVE it! My husband walked in and thought I bought new furniture.

A girl ordered a book from me for her son... She wanted something she could put pictures in throughout his years of school! It turned out really cute! So, now I'm off to paint a desk and make another book!

I can't believe my baby is 6 today!!! Where does the time go? He's getting so big and he's so excited today is his birthday. We are having an Iron Man birthday party tonight... FUN! Happy Birthday Hunter! I love you!

It's been a whirlwind!

The past couple of months have been so crazy! And lately I've been going non stop. I've had so much going on, I've barely had time to check my email or blogs. I can't catch up. Deep breath! Between planning a wedding, birthdays, helping my parents move, re-doing two kitchens and taking care of 3 kids on top of all that... I'm exhausted! The wedding was this past Saturday. It was beautiful! Pictures coming soon!
I'm going to take one more deep breath, then start again! My husband is in the Marine Corps and we recently got orders to North Carolina. We will be moving May 10th. So, time to start packing and getting organized! I have about 7 weeks, then we'll be on our way! I'm excited and sad.. I'll be moving away from my family again. This is our 8th move in 10 years! I'm a pro now! The good thing is we're going back to NC where a lot of my friends are. I haven't seen any of them since we moved away 3 years ago. Military life is such a hard life, but it makes me so proud of my husband. He's such an extraordinary person and it's guys like him that make us feel safe and proud to be an American. So, I will put my chin up and start over one more time. In the end, it's all worth it!

Birthday Pics

So, I'm finally posting some pictures of my daughters birthday... I made this little runway and the girls all dressed up.. We did hair and makeup and had a ball... They danced and "strutted" on the runway! I'm tired, though! We had her family party last Thursday, her fashion party with her friends on Saturday afternoon. Then Saturday evening we went to my parents and celebrated my husbands birthday, which was Saturday, and then went to a friends birthday party on Sunday.... No more birthdays... PLEASE! LOL... Anyway, I'm finally rested up from the crazy weekend. I do have to brag though... I've been on a die hard diet the past 2 months so I can fit into my dress for the wedding I'm in next weekend and talk about being tested!!! With 4 birthday parties and a total of 6 cakes... I didn't eat one piece!! Now that's some will power!!
